FAINEC’s TERMS OF SERVICE
(!) Requesting my services implies that you have read and agree to these terms. It is recommended to read them completely so that we can make healthy business.
1. Payment
1-1 Full payment shall be made in the moment I start working on your commission, through PAYPAL with USD currency.
1-2 Please make sure you REALLY need my services at the time before you place your order, as I do not make refunds in case of sudden withdrawal.
2. Alterations
2-1 Mistakes can happen, so any changes related to details not noticed in references sent PREVIOUSLY will be 100% free when requested before the lineart is finished.
2-2 The first three alterations in the line art will be free, the rest of the alterations from thereafter will have a charge of $3/each.
2-3 Any alteration requests after the coloring process has started will have a charge of $6/each. Alteration charges shall be paid only through PAYPAL.
3. Your Commission
3-1 In order to commission me you have to send COMPLETE and VISUAL references of the character(s) and any other specific aspects composing the artwork.
3-2 The references don’t need to be formal (ref sheets), but need to contain all the necessary information to compose the artwork.
3-3 For these reasons, I DO NOT provide custom / character design services.
ALL orders will be delivered digitally in high quality.
Fainec does not work with physical products.
4. Turnaround Time, Deadlines and Queue
4-1 Your request will be finished between one or two weeks after I start working on it, depending of complexity.
4-2 I reserve the right to refuse orders that require very short deadlines, so prefer to commission me early if you need the piece for a specific date.
4-3 Very complex orders with no deadline can be postponed at the queue in order to complete simpler commissions and ensure greater comfort in the art composition.
5. Refunds
The only moment when I offer refunds is in case of unforeseen events. In case the client isn’t willing to wait until the situation normalizes and I get back to work, they will have their money refunded partially or completely* depending of the artwork’s progress.• Sketch and Lineart: "Complete" refund. (minus PP’s tax)
• Post-Lineart: Partial refund (50%)The refunds normally occur immediately, unless some financial emergency has occured previously. In that case, the client will be informed once the refund is possible.Refunds are only given through PAYPAL.
6. Refusals
Each and every artwork that is refused, cancelled or refunded will be converted to an YCH piece. This is not negotiable.
ALL RIGHTS OF REFUSED CREATIONS REMAIN WITH FAINEC.
7. Exposition
7-1 ALL my artworks are posted on my social media and art platforms. Commissions where the client require me not to do it WON’T be accepted.
7-2 Artworks requested for use in specific dates (holidays, birthdays etc.) are an exception and will only be posted on the agreed date.
8. Art Style, Skills and Materials
8-1 My artwork will always be done in the same art style as the recent pieces in my portfolio. “Hard” art styles (hard lineart, cell shading and vectors) will not be done.
8-2 For traditional art, all I have are color pencils and ballpoint pens for coloring and lineart, respectively.
9. Communication / Interaction
9-1 My first language is Brazillian Portuguese and my second language is English. If you are not lusophone, our conversations will be in English - unless you, for some reason, prefer Portuguese instead.
9-2 I have the habit to send WIPS immediately after finishing each step of the drawing (sketch>lineart>flat colors>rendering). Feel free to ask for more WIPS if you need to, but don’t overdo it. Too many interruptions may affect the turnaround time.
9-3 For these reasons, it is encouraged to give as much detail as possible when describing your request.
9-4 I reserve the right to cancel your order REFUNDLESS if you be mean to me. I'm being paid to draw, not to take rudeness.
10. Copyright
10-1 It is not allowed to use my art for commercial purposes, even if you have paid for it.
10-2 In cases where the character on the artwork is being sold, increases to the character’s price must not exceed the price you paid for said artwork(s).
10-3 You are NOT ALLOWED to modify my art, except in compilation cases, giving the credits.
10-4 Reposting my art is only allowed if credits are given.

FAINEC REPUDIATES ANY USES OF HER ART WITH THE INTENTION OF HARASSMENT OR HATE SPEECH.

• Hate Speech;
• Realism;
• Incitation of crimes with victims;
• Custom / Character Design;
• Graphic Design;
• “Hard” arts (hard lineart, cell shading and vector)
WHAT I DON'T DO (+18/nsfw):
• Minors;
• Loli;
• Shota;
• Cubs;
• Scat;
• Feral / Animals;
• Rape;
• Surprise Gifts;
• Characters that belong to N*ntendo;
• Character from media aimed to small children;
• Necrophilia;
• Intercourse between humanoids and non-humanoids;
• Take commissions from minors.Turnaround time for NSFW pieces may be longer for privacy reasons.
